When you use RideSheba, we collect information necessary to provide you with reliable transportation services. We only collect what we need — nothing more.

• Contact details — your name, phone number, and email when you make a booking or contact us
• Trip information — pickup location, destination, date, time, and number of passengers
• Device and usage data — basic information about how you interact with our website, including browser type and pages visited
• Communications — records of messages exchanged via WhatsApp, phone, or email for service delivery
• Payment reference — booking confirmation details (we do not store full payment card data)

Your information is used solely to deliver and improve RideSheba services. Specifically, we use it to:

• Process and confirm your bookings
• Assign and coordinate drivers for your trip
• Contact you regarding your booking status or changes
• Send service updates, receipts, and important notices
• Respond to your queries and complaints
• Improve our services based on usage patterns

We will never use your data to send unsolicited marketing without your explicit consent.

RideSheba does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties. We share your information only in these limited cases:

• Assigned drivers — your name, phone number, and pickup details are shared with your driver to complete your trip
• Service providers — trusted technical partners who help us operate our website and communications, bound by confidentiality
• Legal obligations — if required by Bangladeshi law or a valid court order

You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@ridesheba.com. We will respond within 7 business days.

• Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
• Withdraw consent for non-essential communications

Our website uses minimal cookies to ensure basic functionality and improve your experience. We use essential cookies only — no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; this will not affect your ability to book our services via WhatsApp or phone.

By using RideSheba services, you agree to these terms. Our services are available to individuals and businesses for lawful transportation purposes within Bangladesh. You must be 18 years or older, or have a parent/guardian's consent, to book a ride.

RideSheba reserves the right to refuse service to anyone violating these terms or engaging in conduct deemed unsafe or unlawful.

Bookings can be made via WhatsApp, phone call, or our contact form. All bookings are subject to vehicle availability. A booking is confirmed only after you receive explicit confirmation from a RideSheba representative.

• Pricing is provided upfront — no hidden charges
• Payment is accepted in cash (BDT) or agreed digital methods
• Corporate clients may be invoiced on agreed credit terms
• Final fare may vary for routes with significant detours requested by the passenger
• Waiting charges apply after 15 minutes of agreed pickup time

• More than 2 hours before pickup — Free cancellation, no charge
• 30 minutes to 2 hours before pickup — 20% service fee may apply
• Less than 30 minutes before pickup — 50% of agreed fare may be charged
• No-show (driver at location) — Full fare may be charged
• RideSheba-initiated cancellations — Full refund, plus priority rebooking at no extra charge

RideSheba and its drivers take reasonable care to ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers. However, we are not liable for:

• Delays caused by traffic, road conditions, or natural events beyond our control
• Loss or damage to personal belongings left in vehicles
• Indirect or consequential losses arising from delayed or cancelled trips

All vehicles are maintained and drivers are licensed. In the event of an accident or incident, we fully cooperate with insurance and legal processes as required by Bangladeshi law.

Passengers are expected to behave respectfully toward drivers and fellow passengers. RideSheba reserves the right to terminate a trip without refund if a passenger:

• Is verbally abusive, threatening, or physically aggressive
• Damages any part of the vehicle
• Is under the influence of alcohol or substances in a manner disruptive to the trip
• Engages in any illegal activity during the trip

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Any disputes arising from RideSheba services should first be raised directly with us at hello@ridesheba.com. We are committed to resolving issues fairly and promptly.

If a dispute cannot be resolved directly, it shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Kushtia District, Bangladesh.
